Description
Owatrol Textrol HES ( High Solids ) is a one coat penetrating oil for exterior use on decking and timber cladding. Suitable for all soft and European hardwood species, in particular cedar and douglas fir. Textrol HES is a highly penetrative oil which absorbs deep into the timber. As it doesn’t form a film it will not crack, blister or flake. Highly resistant to harmful UV rays.
The matt sheen enhances the texture and natural beauty of the wood. Textrol HES is a one coat product that speeds up the application time and reduces the amount of maintenance needed. The required maintenance is minimal with coats only required once in every couple of years or longer making it a sound investment for the future.

PLEASE NOTE
Textrol HES is not suitable for exotic hardwoods or thermally heated oil-impregnated wood.
Caution
- Do not apply in direct sunlight or to hot surfaces.
- Do not apply if cold and/or wet weather is expected within 24 hours.
- If using a sprayer it should be 0.017-.021 tip at 1800-2000 psi (124-138 bars)
- Cover everything you do not wish to coat, including plants and shrubs.
- Do not thin.
- Always work the entire length of a board or piece of wood to a logical break.
- Never stop application in the middle of a board or piece of wood.
- Coat vertical cladding from top to bottom.
- After spray application, always back-brush or back-roll to improve penetration and uniformity of coverage.
- Ensure wood is dry – max 18% moisture content – before applying.
