Description
Zinsser Universal Degreaser & Cleaner (750ml) is a water-based detergent that is colour fast, fabric safe and removes tough stains quickly and effectively from a wide variety of surfaces.
Highly recommended for use on tiles, grout, baths, sinks, showers, tools and equipment, machinery, driveways, BBQs and ovens. Ideal for cleaning surfaces prior to painting, Zinsser Universal Degreaser effectively removes an array of stains and substances, including:
- Dried water-based paint and paint overspray
- Tape residue, glue and adhesive
- Food and drink stains, and pet stains
- Bird droppings and tree sap
- Smoke damage, grease and oil
- Lipstick, marker and crayon
- Scuff marks, shoe polish
- And many, many more!
Directions for Use
- Always apply to a test area before commencing the job.
- Apply straight onto the surface to be cleaned and allow to penetrate briefly.
- Wipe off with a clean cloth or towel.
- If using product before painting, make sure that any residue is thoroughly rinsed off.
- For older, harder jobs, apply a generous amount of the Degrease & Cleaner and allow to stand for a few minutes before wiping dry
- Extremely difficult jobs, like the removal of old dried paint, scrub with a brush or scouring pad and wash off with a wet rag.
- For engine cleaning, use on a cold, dried engine.
Limitations
This product may mark metal so make sure to test on an inconspicuous or test are first. This product is not suitable for varnished surfaces or leather. Do not mix with any other chemical.
