Description
Zinsser ALLCOAT Multi-Surface Primer & Finish is a solvent-based 4 in 1 coating, Primer, Sealer, Stain blocking and finish in one tin. The ultimate interior coating suitable for new plaster, ideal for domestic or commercial contractor. It can be spray applied or brushed a one coat coverage and virtually odour free formula.
Performance Characteristics

- Seals difficult stains form water, fire, smoke and nicotine
- Adheres to glossy surfaces without pre-sanding or de-glossing.
- Bright white, non-yellowing, dead-flat finish looks great when left uncoated over dingy, water-stained ceilings/walls. Also available in black or tint bases that can be tinted to any NCS, RAL or BS4800 shade.
- High pH resistance (up to 12.5) for concrete, lime based plaster, plaster, stucco and fast set joint / texture compounds
- Great for suspended ceilings, flat white finish matches tile colour, adheres to tile and powder coated frame
- Easy-sand formula makes a great enamel undercoat
- Seals common stains like crayon, graffiti, food stains, etc.
- Compatible with alkyd or acrylic topcoats
- Clean up with mineral spirits
Recommended Uses:
- Apply Zinsser ALLCOAT multi-surface to interior walls, ceilings, doors, trim, cabinets, panelling and related paintable surfaces.
- AllCoat bonds to gloss enamels and varnishes, hardboard, glass and tile.
- Resistant to high pH surfaces (up to 12.5) including plaster, poured concrete, concrete block, stucco and ?hot? joints / texture compounds.
- Seals porous surfaces so topcoats spread further and present accurate sheen and colour.
- Blocks difficult stains from fire and smoke damage and nicotine
