Description
Crown Trade Full Undercoat is a high quality undercoat for use over prepared and primed joinery and metal. This undercoat boasts superior filling properties, maximum gloss hold-out and excellent obliteration.
Preparation
- Ensure the surface is sound, clean, dry and free from any possible contaminates such as algae, grease, dirt, and dust.
- Bare or friable surfaces should be primed with the appropriate Crown Trade Primer.
- Existing paintwork in sound condition should be washed down with a warm water solution detergent and abraded.

Application
- Stir Crown Trade Full Undercoat well before use.
- Apply by brush or roller to an even thickness (a fine, soft long filament bristle brush gives best results).
- Maintain a wet edge.
- On timber lay off in the direction of the grain.
- Apply one or two coats as required.
Safety
- Please refer to the Safety, Health and Environmental Information on the container, or the Safety Data Sheet attached.
- Take special precautions during the surface preparation of pre 1960’s painted surfaces as they may contain harmful lead.
- When preparing all surfaces avoid the inhalation of dust and/or metal particles. Wear a suitable facemask.
-  Store in secure dry conditions between 5°C and 40°C and inaccessible to children or animals.
- Containers should be kept closed during storage.
- Do not empty into drains, watercourses or access routes to septic tanks.
