Teknos Rensa Super Paint Cleaner – 1L

Description

Teknos Rensa Super Paint Cleaner is a universal detergent designed to wash all manner of building surfaces, and to pre-treat surfaces prior to painting. Suitable for both interior and exterior use, this product can be used on top of any paint and on any building/construction surface that can withstand cleaning with water. Simple and straightforward to use – you do not need to rinse with water as Teknos Rensa Super is an evaporating detergent – simply wipe away the dirt, allow 5 minutes for drying and commence painting!

Teknos estimate that a single 1L bottle of Rensa Super detergent will cover approximately 20m². Various factors will affect the spreading rate, including but not limited to; porosity/absorption of the surface, dirtiness, and air humidity.

For slightly dirty surfaces

If using water is not possible, you can moisten a sponge or a cleaning cloth with Teknos Rensa Super and wipe the surface clean. Leave a few minutes for the detergent to dry and commence painting whenever you please.

For very dirty surfaces

• If cleaning a large or very dirty surface, use Teknos Rensa Super as a traditional detergent.
• For porous surfaces, such as untreated wood, plaster etc., wet with water before applying the detergent. This prevents the detergent from absorbing too much and drying too fast.
• The detergent can be applied to the surface by using a brush or low-pressure spray.
• Once applied let the product act for around 10 minutes.
• You can maximise the cleaning effect by brushing the surface.
• PLEASE NOTE: The detergent must not dry on the surface to be cleaned – wet the surface again with the washing fluid, if needed. Rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water. Bear in mind the strength of the surface you are treating – excessive wetting could compromise some surfaces or structures.

Caution

• The detergent does not harm painted surfaces or the most usual materials/constructional surfaces, but avoid unnecessary splashing.
• For the most delicate materials, e.g. textile surfaces, ensure sufficient protection and suitability of the product by testing the effects on a small, unnoticeable area of the surface to be treated.
• The detergent does not harm garden plants, but avoid unnecessary splashing. The most sensitive plants can be covered or wetted with water before the treatment.

• May produce an allergic reaction.
• If you need medical advice have the tin and/or label at hand.
• Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Wear respiratory protection if spraying the product.
• Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing.
• IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do, and then continue rinsing.
• IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water. Do not use solvent or thinners or white spirit.
• IF SWALLOWED: Call a POISON CENTRE or doctor if you feel unwell at all.
